I have applied to become an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina and Aetna (applications filed early November, 2017).

Until I become an approved provider (or if you have insurance you hope may offset a majority of the cost for an assessment), it is smart to call them to determine if they provide out-of-network mental health benefits. If so, I can provide you with a statement with all information necessary to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please confirm your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • Does my benefit cover psychological assessment? (If relevant)
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Please remember that you, not the insurance company, are ultimately responsible for paying the fees that we have agreed upon.

Reduced Fee

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis and based upon need.

Payment

Payments are due at the time of service and may be made by cash, check, or credit/debit card. When applicable, co-payments and co-insurance are expected at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
